Allison Phaneuf is committed to the education and self-improvement of others, and brings considerable energy and enthusiasm to every endeavor. She has over fifteen years of experience in the areas of education, corporate training and consulting, career development, and health and wellness coaching. Believing in the power of cooperative learning, Allison incorporates the use of experiential learning and Dialogue Education techniques into her seminars and trainings as tools for increasing knowledge and retention of information by way of a fun and interactive environment.
With graduate degrees in both Organizational Development and Counseling Psychology, Allison has previously served as an adjunct instructor and guest lecturer of psychology at such places as the University of Hartford, University of Connecticut, and Eastern Connecticut State University where she taught an array of classes including Workplace Psychology, Theories of Personality, Group Dynamics, Cognition, and Developmental Psychology. Additionally, she taught Business Development, Professionalism and Ethics for The Massage School in Easthampton, MA. Allison is qualified in the use of the DiSC and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and uses these tools for seminars in Team Dynamics, Diversity, understanding personality, and career development. Her current workshop list includes such topics as Stress Management and Workplace Productivity; Communication, Leadership, and Team Development; Business and Resume Writing; and other custom programs including challenge course and sailing adventures.
Allison holds certifications as a Holistic Health Coach and Lifestyle Educator, is formally trained in massage therapy and Reiki, and has taught both Tai Chi and Fitness Kickboxing. Her hobbies include enjoying nature and being outdoors, hiking, racing sailboats, playing guitar, painting, knitting, traveling, and having inspiring conversations with interesting people.
